Meet the Veterinarians & Team of Crepe Myrtle Animal Hospital! We’re pleased to provide exceptional vet care for your pets.

Dr. Brian Schillig (Owner/Medical Director) was born and raised in Ohio and is a graduate of The Ohio State University. Dr. Schillig moved to North Carolina in 2010 and recently relocated to the beautiful city of Angier. At an early age he decided on a career in veterinary medicine. Most recently he worked in emergency medicine in Fayetteville and brings his expertise in ultrasound and soft tissue surgery to Crepe Myrtle Animal Hospital. While he excels helping the sick cats and dogs, his focus is the family-pet bond. Besides his work at work in the veterinary field he has a variety of passions outside the clinic. His favorite activities are scuba diving, bicycling, reading and most importantly, spending time with his two teenage children. He’s also a pet parent to three dogs and a very spoiled bird named Pepper.
